Proyecto de diseño sustentable que busca reinsertar la ropa usada en la cadena productiva estableciendo fórmulas que reconfiguran las formas para dar origen a productos renovados, actualizados y amigables con el medio ambiente.
Sustainable design project that seeks to reinsert the used clothing in the productive chain by establishing formulas that reconfigure forms to give rise to updated products that are friendly to the environment.
Estudié la forma de trabajar con un fardo de mala calidad, retirando el material percudido, como cuellos y axilas, y el descartado por razones estéticas, como logos y estampados feos.
Estimé un modo de clasificar cada camiseta según su tipología que me permitiera sistematizar la manera de intervenir cada prenda. De esta forma, siguiendo un modelo geométrico sencillo, derivado de la observación del tangram, era posible re-combinar las piezas para volver a formar un réctángulo de tela.
I studied how to work with a low quality t-shirt fardo, identifing critical zones, such as necks and armpits, in the search of removing dingy material as well as ugly logos and prints, ruled out for aesthetic reasons.
I estimated a way of classifying each shirt by type to allow me to systematize how to intervene each garment. In this way, using a simple geometric model, derived from observation of the tangram, you could re-combine the pieces back to form a rectangle of fabric.

Top fabricado a partir de pañuelos provenientes de todo el mundo en fardos de ropa de segunda mano, más un retazo de algodón. Mientras el algodón se ciñe a la cintura, el pañuelo cae sensual sobre el hombro. Puro sabor latino! -no hay igual-.
Silky top made from scarfs imported from all over the world in fardos of second hand clothing plus one little remnant of knitted cotton. While the cotton is tight to the body, the scarf falls down the shoulder. All latin flavor! - no hay igual.
